About
THE 360º BODY STYLIST
Celebrity Fashion + Body Stylist and TV Personality, Eric Himel has been hailed as one of the most diverse and uniquely qualified stylists in the industry. Known as the ‘360º Stylist’ for his discerning eye, constructive candor and knowing instinctively what looks best on literally anyone makes him the go-to style guy for both on and off the camera for men, women and even teenagers alike. Himel believes that true confidence only comes from having the entire package: a body that you feel good in and the clothes to put them on.
Raised in Toronto and Dallas, Himel immediately moved to the fashion capital of New York City upon graduation to study fashion design at the prestigious Parson’s School of Design in New York City where he trained under Project Runway’s dynamic style guru Tim Gunn. Following graduation, Himel moved to Los Angeles and began his styling career expanding his business across the US and Canada. The inspiration for Himel’s career came from an early childhood discovery where he adroitly grasped the transformative power of fashion, recognizing and mastering the ability to shape public perception through style and physical appearance. This ultimately was the basis in helping clients, both celebrity and non-celebrities alike, creating the best version of themselves.
From reality shows to lifestyle shows, Himel is a regular media fixture as both an on-air personality as well as a fashion and lifestyle expert appearing on The Style Network, E!, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW, TMZ, Lifetime, The Hallmark Channel, The LiveWell Network, The Marilu Henner Show and The Shopping Channel as well as styling shoots and being featured in Elle, InStyle, The New York Times, Interview, Flaunt, Refinery29, People, Us, GQ, The LA Times, Real Simple, The Huffington Post, Good Housekeeping, Travel & Leisure, Forbes, First For Women, Los Angeles Fashion Magazine, The New York Post, Miami Living, Chicago Baby, CS, The Atlantan, Michigan Avenue Magazine and The Chicago Tribune. Himel is also a regular contributor to Us Weekly’s Fashion Police as well as Canada’s top lifestyle and beauty magazine and travel magazine, Niche and Drift, respectively, and has been a Style Expert for Life & Style Magazine. Himel also served as Fashion Director for premiere luxury lifestyle magazines ChicagoMOD and it’s sister magazine HudsonMOD. When not styling celebrities or talking fashion on top-rated news and entertainment shows, Himel is rattling off his fashion and body makeover edicts and seasonal fashion picks with his infamous Himelisms on his blog, social media, national radio and podcasts.
Himel’s raison d’être came out of his personal struggle as a teenager steeped in shyness and body insecurity culminating in what has become known as his 360º Makeover: A makeover that starts from the inside out with his client’s head-to-toe issues, from their faces to their bodies culminating with their wardrobe and style. Himel has taken it upon himself to practice what he preaches and has tried no less than 20 invasive and non-invasive modalities so that he not only can speak first-hand about what he recommends but also knows the best of the best of what is offered. Himel’s aesthetic brands contact database that he has on speed dial gives him immediate and up-to-date insider access. He is a true artist and he does not that responsibility lightly transforming the body, mind, and soul.
Himel regularly works with an array of celebrities for on-camera appearances, photo shoots and red carpet events easily moving within the world of TV, movies, sports, restauranteurs and music including Ali Larter, Jenny McCarthy, Kristin Cavallari, Rachel Brosnahan, Giuliana and Bill Rancic, Tia Mowry, Pete Wentz, Grey’s Anatomy Sarah Drew, Ali Fedotowsky, The Goldberg’s Hayley Orrantia, Scottie and Larsa Pippen, Taylor Kinney, Devious Maids’ Roselyn Sanchez, Chicago P.D.’s Marina Squerciati, Jane The Virgin’s Andrea Navedo, Gone Girl and Sharp Objects writer Gillian Flynn, American Crime’s Angelique Rivera, MacGyver’s Justin Hires, David Eigenberg, Celebrity Chefs Graham Elliot, Grant Achatz, Curtis Stone, Stephanie Izard & Fabio Viviani, Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas, HGTV’s Alison Victoria and The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris, to name a few.

Period.’ Furthermore, he maintains that having a good stylist is as essential as to having a doctor, therapist or personal trainer.
